Creepy Enough WITH Fur

Don’t try this at home, unless you want nightmares. Luckily, I was a little bit too old when Barney entered the scene.

No different that if you saw anyone’s skeleton, including your own! BTW, heard somewhere, long ago that if most people saw a visual projection of what they would look like as a senior citizen, they would freak out.

Also, BTW, seen the Bodies at Ala Moana? 27 Bucks. I didn’t. But maybe a way to be a post-mortem entertainer and earn some righteous dough.

One can never be too old for the likes of Barney and Friends.
I never took to the likes however, but my nephew is a fan, in fact I think he has that same toy! I guess beauty (or whatever you want to call it) is only skin deep.
Robotics are the wave of the future, you as a 1/4 life should understand that.

I don’t mean to distract from the post at hand (but I will). The organizers of the bodies showcase can’t document that they have permission from the Chinese people who were fileted for their money making scheme. They should be ashamed of themselves.
That aside, if that’s what Barney looks like, I’m deathly afraid of what the Teletubbies look like on the inside.

I kind of like the way Barney looks without the fur. Very futuristic

Aww nothing’s wrong with that. When I was younger I was really curious about that kind of stuff, and I’d take apart my toys to find out what made them run. It’s pretty neat how the designs are pretty conservative (read: efficient). No need for an entire skeleton when you only need a speaker for a voice and a couple of motors for eyes and a mouth.
But I saw a video on YouTube in which some Elmo toy was activated and then set on fire. Eventually the fur burned off, and there was just the robot shell underneath, still moving and singing even though it was charred and on fire. That totally freaked me out and gave me nightmares for a long time….
