I’m up to my ears in video training this week and will be back in a few days. In the meantime, feel free to give me some ideas for topics to write about. Thanks!

I agree. A HA blog with supporting local videos. For instance, if your blog topic was security at the University of Hawaii, you could shoot interviews with students or following students on their way to the library at night. The possibilities are endless.

Other papers within the Gannett family are starting to do alot more with video.
Retaining viewers throughout the day with our breaking news coverage, and keeping them tuned in during peak television news hours would be awesome.
With our site re-design around the corner, new skills and tools at our disposal, it will be an exciting year!
